I’m interested in using Microsoft Sharepoint, and need to know if anyone has used it and found it beneficial?
Do you know of any good sites where I can get mor einfo on sharepoint and learn about it?

I used sharepoint with my last (huge multinational) employer. It is clunky and dramatically restrained what I wanted to get out of it.
Sharepoint is only really useful in huge installations where many, many people will be contributing and interacting with it.
For anything smaller than 1,000 users, something custom made or a free off-the-shelf package would probably be more appropriate.
